I just can't believe how old-fashioned my painting is. I've got to get modern!

- Lisa McErlean was born in New York and raised to the suburbs. After finally getting her B.A. in painting at S.U.N.Y Purchase, she briefly travelled in Europe, then stayed in France for lack of a better plan. She studied decorative painting in Paris over 18 years ago and has been messing with sponges, rags, brushes and paint recipes creating faux finishes ever since.
